We got home pretty late from Grandma Shirley's house, but still managed to bake cookies for Santa and get ready for Christmas.

Here are the finished cookies we left out for Santa. We asked Jenna if she wanted to leave milk out for him to drink after he eats all the cookies, but she insisted we leave out water instead!
We read The Night Before Christmas and got her all excited to wake up and find presents in her stocking (in hopes that she would go to bed 'nicely'- but that didn't work) I think she finally fell asleep around 1130!
I finally got Jenna to sleep, expecting the stockings to be filled and everything ready for Christmas morning- and here is what I found...
A very tired husband passed out on the couch! So I played Santa and ate most of the cookies and filled all the stockings. It was a fun Christmas Eve and I look forward to keeping our traditions going next year!
