Palm Springs

I'm a little embarrassed to say that April is almost over and I am just now writing about the trip we took in February!

We decided to take a little vacation to Palm Springs, in hopes that the weather would be warmer so we could just hang out by the pool and soak up the sun.... BUT that wasn't quite the vacation we got!

After driving for 12 HOURS in the pouring rain, we got to our lovely hotel around 10pm to find out that our bathroom door didn't shut AND the toilet didn't flush! So, we didn't get to sleep until after the handy men fixed the toilet... which was around midnight UGHHH!

After a very late night, you'd think the girls would sleep in a little. UM no, not our kids! I think Carly woke everybody up at 630am the next morning... fun times!

The first day was a little rough, dealing with tired kids, but after naps we all had a great time playing at the pool (even though it was only 58 degrees out)!

The second night went MUCH better than the first!

I must say, eating out at restaurants and not having to cook was the highlight of my trip!

Of course, our trip couldn't end without a little Frozen Yogurt!

Even with the cold weather, tired kids, and a GPS that liked to get us lost- we all had a great time together and enjoyed our weekend away!
